Early Digital Experience
During my international assignment between 2007 and 2011, I worked in an environment where digital documents, electronic signatures, and integrated information systems were already an essential part of daily operations.
IBM Maximo was used for inventory management, procurement, material issuing, and the tracking of equipment and tools. Operational processes were closely integrated with electronic PDF documentation, enabling faster information flow and more efficient task execution.
From 2008 onward, documents, reports, requests, work orders, and issue tickets were received, reviewed, digitally signed, and exchanged electronically through corporate systems and email.
Adobe Acrobat Professional was used for electronic signatures and digital certificate management, significantly reducing paper consumption, physical document transportation, processing time, and administrative costs while ensuring compliance with mandatory archiving and document management procedures in accordance with corporate and contractual standards.
This approach represented an early implementation of digital business transformation principles. Through the integration of information systems, electronic documentation, and digital signatures, it enabled faster information exchange, improved document traceability, more efficient resource management, and reduced administrative and logistical costs.
Practical Application
The knowledge and competencies I acquired were not limited to formal training programs. They were continuously applied in day-to-day work on international infrastructure and electrical power projects.
This included maintaining electrical and ICT systems, managing technical documentation, implementing safety procedures, performing quality assurance activities, coordinating resources, and continuously improving digital business processes.
Documentation
